Our Philosophy
We believe that children learn best in an
atmosphere of warmth and acceptance in which they feel free and secure
enough
to explore their world. In this
atmosphere of cooperation and caring, children grow up feeling that
they are
valued and the world can be trusted.
The Teacher
Kathleen Côté,
E.C.E., our caring, experienced and highly qualified teacher
has been with Little Mountain since 1988.
The School
Little
Mountain offers you and
your child the best in co-operative preschool programs.
The
program runs
on Thursday and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Children
aged 2½ (by September of the school year)
to 4 years are welcome.
It is
preferable
that the children are toilet trained.
The
school
provides a clean, friendly and secure environment for your child.
The
school is
conveniently located and provides plenty of parking.

Co-operative
Childcare Benefits
Educational experience for your child
The parent is directly involved in their child’s
first school experience
The parents and teacher work together, providing
the child with a consistent style of care between home and school
It offers the parent the opportunity to ensure the
program fits their child’s needs
Co-op involvement enables the parent to share
information and experiences about child rearing with other like-minded
parents
It offers the children more individual attention
