Our Philosophy
We believe that children learn best in an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance in which they feel free and secure enough to actively explore their world. Feelings of self-worth and self-confidence will develop in an environment designed by professionals to provide happy and safe opportunities for play and learning. Children will interact and play together pursuing their own interests in choosing their own activities. We believe that we can help children grow towards self-control and respect for others. In this atmosphere of co-operation and caring, children will grow up feeling that they are valued and that the world can be trusted.
The School
Little Mountain offers you and your child the best in co-operative preschool programs
- The program runs on Thursday and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m
- Children aged 2½ (by September of the school year) to 4 years are welcome.
- It is preferable that the children are toilet trained.
- The school provides a clean, friendly and secure environment for your child.
- The school is conveniently located and provides plenty of parking.
Little Mountain Preschool is located in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church - a separate entity with no affiliation.
